- Firearm Auctions: Firearm auctions are known to provide high quality items for a competitive price everytime – and this is a huge benefit for people seeking to purchase or sell a new, used, or antique firearm. *We hold a Federal Firearms License (FFL), so we can handle, preview, resell or auction any firearms other than Class III but do work with SOTs and can help facilitate the sell.
- Absolute Auctions: A no-reserve auction, also known as an absolute auction, is an auction in which the item for sale will be sold regardless of price.
- Reserve Auctions: A reserve auction permits a minimum price that a seller would be willing to accept from a buyer; and the seller is not typically required to disclose the reserve price to potential buyers. If the reserve price is not met, the seller is not required to sell the item, even to the highest bidder.
- Charity Auctions: We can host a charity auction at your location or ours. Charity auctions (whether live, silent, or online) are fundraising events in which guests bid to win auction items and packages. The highest bid wins the item, and the fundraising organization receives the proceeds. A win-win! These are highly engaging events that lay the groundwork for long-term engagement with donors.

What is the Pros & Cons between live and online auctions?
Online auctions have the advantage of reaching a wider audience for a longer period of time. The auction platform, we use is Hibid, which has over 1 million unique bidders every month across the world. Bidders are able to bid from anywhere and anytime till the auction closes. There is no risk to lose a potential bidder just because he/she is not able to attend the auction that day. Sellers can track their items in live time and see how it is performing.
Online auctions provide a more streamlined checkout and payment process for buyers and an easier payout method for sellers. Typically online auctions have higher realized prices than live.
Live auctions are what comes to mind when most people think of auctions. Savanna sells lot by lot with her auction chant until all lots have sold either at the consignors property or our auction house. Live auctions have often not only an opportunity to buy unique items at a great price, but they have been a place for social gathering, to meet new people and expand your network.
How does Moon Auction Group handle reserves?
Reserves will be dealt with based on the seller/consignor’s preferences, specifically on an item by item and auction by auction basis. Some items in one auction can have a reserve while many do not, and some auctions will be absolute auctions with no reserves. We can also do a hybrid model depending on the inventory.
Does the staff at Moon Auction Group deliver?
We do not currently offer in-house delivery. We do offer shipping on select items, depending on dimensions and weight. If shipping is applicable on any item, the shipping terms will be listed on the item detail in the catalog, with the cost of shipping.
Can I pick up my item after the auction if too large to take with me?
We offer three days free storage of your item, if too large to be carried with you after the auction closes. After three days, a storage fee will be applied to the winning bidder.
What referrals / partners do you work with?
We can offer referrals of real estate agents, real estate property appraisers, moving companies, and insurers.

- We offer pick up for larger items within 3 days after the auction’s close. After the three days, a storage fee will apply to the winning bidder.
